I'm shocked - that's not Sirenia at it's best. The first tracks are mainstream rock or something else....
I liked their old vocalist better, Fabienne Gondamin on the "At Sixes and Sevens" album.
But saying that.
Anon above only listened for a few minutes (impatient wanker) because the guitars and drums do up the anti, there are pop
hooks with the Gregorian like chanting, classic metal crunch riffing and double drum bass kicks.
It seems to work, it gets more metallic and technical as the songs roll on.
It still has that good old Sirenia feel to it.
If you want instant metal gratification, d/l a 'Children of Bodom' album instead.
